New Hangings

I made my first wall hanging about 5 years ago as I have a had a narrow piece of wall in my hall that was too skinny to fit a picture frame, so I made a long chain of ceramic pieces. I planned to make more but they are quite fiddly with a lot of different elements, so I soon got a bit fed up with them and kept most in my home/studio! But lately I’ve been revisiting a few old ideas and finding that i’m enjoying working on something different.

I tend to make a bit batch of different elements and them pair them together to create a one of a kind or a small batch of three similar pieces as changing up the designs keeps it fresh for me.

So I will add a few more each week in the run up to Christmas, as I think they make quite an unusual and charming gift . Hope you enjoy them.
